The Fulton County election interference case against President Trump and others has been dismissed after the prosecutor who took over the case asked that it be dropped.
A US judge on Wednesday ended the long-running case accusing Donald Trump and his allies of trying to overturn the 2020 election -- bringing the curtain down on the final criminal prosecution still shadowing the president's return to power.
A Georgia court on Wednesday dropped the state's election interference case against President Trump and his allies after the local prosecutor who took over the case said he would no longer pursue the charges. CBS News justice correspondent Scott MacFarlane has more.

The president has now seen three criminal cases against him dissolve since he was re-elected last year.
