President Trump tells NBC News’ Garrett Haake that he would sign legislation to force the Department of Justice to release the files on the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein if it passes Congress.

Ahead of the House vote to release the Epstein files, two women who survived abuse by Jeffrey Epstein spoke to NBC News' Hallie Jackson about coming together with a group of women to demand that Congress release all files on the accused sex trafficker.
In a social media post on Sunday, President Trump urged House Republicans to vote to release the files related to Jeffrey Epstein after months of strong opposition. The House is expected to vote Tuesday on a bill that would force the DOJ to release the files.
"We have nothing to hide," the US president writes - a reversal after previously resisting publishing the documents.
