Washington Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne has been suspended for one game without pay by the NFL for hitting Detroit Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown during the teams’ game
The NFL issued a one-game suspension to the Washington Commanders' Daron Payne for punching Amon-Ra St. Brown, the league announced Monday.
The Commanders will be without defensive tackle Daron Payne against the Dolphins next week after he was ejected for punching Amon-Ra St. Brown on Sunday.
The suspension will cost Payne more than $1 million in salary.
