Senate Reaches Tentative Deal to End Government Shutdown
A bipartisan group of senators have reached the 60-vote threshold that would end the stalemate on Capitol Hill and forge a path forward on a bipartisan deal to end the longest government shutdown in history. The plan would fund all of government through the end of January and pay for military construction, agriculture and SNAP benefits through September of next year.
