The Trump administration is asking the Supreme Court to allow President Trump to fire Lisa Cook from her position on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
Lisa Cook took part in this week’s Fed policy meeting in which the central bank cut interest rates by 0.25%.
President Trump had pressed to fire Lisa Cook before the central bank’s meeting, at which the Fed voted to cut interest rates.
