The Supreme Court unanimously upheld a law that could ban TikTok in the U.S. by this Sunday unless its Chinese owner sells it. The Court said TikTok's popularity made it a threat to national security. But the Biden administration said it won't implement the law, leaving it to the incoming Trump administration to decide on next steps. The US Supreme Court has upheld the law which bans TikTok in the US unless it's sold by January 19. To be clear, the ban only requires Apple and Google to remove the app from their app stores, it doesn't outright ban the app's use in the States.
